Notice regarding Conclusion of Power Purchase Agreement at MinebeaMitsumi Cebu Plant
MinebeaMitsumi Inc. (Registered Head Office: Nagano, Representative Director, Chairman CEO: Yoshihisa Kainuma, hereinafter referred to as "MinebeaMitsumi") hereby announces that we have concluded a power purchase agreement (PPA) with TeaM Energy Corporation.
Through this PPA agreement and the large-scale solar power generation systems installed on the premises of the MITSUMI Cebu plant, which began operation in October 2023, 100% renewable energy is realized for the electricity consumption at the MinebeaMitsumi Group's two plants located in Cebu Island, Republic of the Philippines.
Aiming at our corporate philosophy "To contribute to realization of a sustainable, eco-friendly and prosperous society by providing better products, at a faster speed, in larger numbers, at a lower cost and by smarter means," we will continue to strive to further expand the use of renewable energy and build a sustainable society.
