Announcement Regarding Business Transfer and Liquidation of Subsidiary
Minebea Co., Ltd. ("Minebea") hereby announces that, at a Board of Directors meeting held on September 26, 2014, it has resolved to acquire all the business of NMB Electro Precision, Inc. ("NMBEPI") and liquidate NMBEPI, a consolidated subsidiary of Minebea.
NMBEPI was established in June 1990 in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture for the production of induction motors, fan motors and other motors. Following the structural reorganization in April 2013 involving its business reorganized into the Precision Motor, Industrial Machinery & Special Device Division of Minebea, we have decided to transfer the business of NMBEPI to Minebea and liquidate the company as detailed below.
