Notice regarding Structural Reorganization and Personnel Changes
The Board of Directors of Minebea Co., Ltd. ("Minebea") met on Friday, March 15, 2013 and concluded its structural reorganization and personnel changes associated with such reorganization as described below.
1. Structural Reorganization (Effective Date: as of April 1, 2013)

Current Machined Component Manufacturing HQ, Rotary Component Manufacturing HQ, Electronic Device & Component Manufacturing HQ, HDD Motor Manufacturing HQ, Special Device Manufacturing HQ, and Global Motor Business HQ will be reorganized into two manufacturing headquarters, namely "Machined Component Manufacturing HQ" and "Electronic Device & Component Manufacturing HQ."
Changes to the Electronic Device & Component Manufacturing HQ's organizational structure are detailed below.

* Minebea Motor Manufacturing Corporation ("MMMC"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Minebea, will be merged into Minebea as of April 2, 2013. As a result, MMMC's 4 motor BU's will be transferred to Minebea and merged into respective BU's of newly-established Information Motor Division of Minebea accordingly, while existing Information Motor BU will be abolished.
In addition, Micro Actuator BU will be merged into Stepping Motor BU.

"Internal Manufacturing Division", which is in charge of manufacturing jig and tool, and parts and components internally, will be newly created. Internal Manufacturing Division will be responsible for Mechanical Components Manufacturing Dept., Magnetic Material Manufacturing Dept., Mold Manufacturing Dept., and Press Manufacturing Dept., as well as Tool & Die Dept. and Supporting Office for Machine Shop, both of which will be transferred from current Production Support Division.
Machined Component Manufacturing HQ is in charge of Ball Bearing BU, Rod End/Fastener BU, Mechanical Assembly BU, and NHBB/myonic BU as in the past.
Additionally, Tokyo Research & Development Center will be newly created at Tokyo Head Office (located at Minato-ku, Tokyo).
