Since establishing the Hamamatsu Plant in Asana, Iwata District (currently Fukuroi City), Shizuoka Prefecture, in 1986, MinebeaMitsumi has positioned it over the past 40 years as the mother plant for its electronic devices business—the cornerstone of the company's technological development. To date, the plant has brought approximately 30 product categories to market, including various motors, sensors, and the "SALIOT" smart LED lighting system. Blessed with Fukuroi City's rich natural environment and outstanding talent, the Hamamatsu Plant remains an indispensable core hub as MinebeaMitsumi strives for further sustainable growth through continuous technological innovation.
Facilities within the park, including ECOPA Stadium and ECOPA Arena, are located close to our Hamamatsu Plant, making them very familiar places for our employees and their families. By striving to create an environment that instills pride in local employees and their families while further deepening ties with the local community, we will solidify our R&D platform for cutting-edge technologies even further.
MinebeaMitsumi will continue to push forward with manufacturing (monozukuri) and aim to enhance corporate value and realize a sustainable society through coexistence with local communities.
