MinebeaMitsumi Inc. (Head Office: Nagano Prefecture; Representative Director, Chairman CEO: Yoshihisa Kainuma; hereinafter "MinebeaMitsumi") and NITORI Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Sappori-shi; Representative Director, Chairperson & President: Akio Nitori; hereinafter "NITORI") are pleased to announce the launch of their co-developed home-use "sensor-integrated bed" at selected NITORI stores from February 2026.
This sensor-integrated bed utilizes core technology from the concept bed, which was on display at the "Future Sleep" area of "Body Zone" within PASONA NATUREVERSE, EXPO 2025, OSAKA, KANSAI, JAPAN (Yumeshima, Osaka, from Sunday, April 14, 2025 to Monday, October 13, 2025)*1

The bed automatically adjusts its angle for optimal sleep comfort based on sensed body movement data. The dedicated app displays the bed operational information.
Creating a Living Environment Dedicated to Optimal Sleep Comfort
This Sensor-Integrated Bed, jointly developed between MinebeaMitsumi and NITORI, utilizes strain gauge, a core technology of MinebeaMitsumi's sensor business. Integrated into the four legs of the bed, the Bed Sensor System*2 senses body movement during sleep in real time. This allow the system to gather sleep comfort data and display it on the dedicated app—all without the need for any wearable measuring devices.
The bed monitors and get a precise picture of the body movement during sleep in an invasive manner. Based on the monitored results, the bed automatically adjust its angle for optimal comfort. Both companies jointly developed this sensor-integrated bed in pursuit of creating a living environment dedicated to uncompromising sleep comfort.

Dedicated Smartphone App for Automating Home Appliances to Sync with your Sleep and Wake-up Patterns
The app records your optimal bed operation and body movement data. By setting your preferred bed angle, the bed helps you sleep in a relaxing position, realizing an optimal sleeping environment for you. At your set wake-up time, the bed automatically raises the backrest, supporting a gentle awakening through its movement. Furthermore, the dedicated smartphone app allows for automatic control of home appliances synchronized with your sleep and wake-up times. By linking with lighting and air conditioning, the system creates an optimal environment for comfortable sleep.
