MINEBEA MITSUMI Inc.

MinebeaMitsumi Announces the Opening of "X TECH MUSEUM"
in Minato Ward, Tokyo (Shiodome)
- A Place Where Elementary School Students from the 5th Grade Can Experience
the Technology of Manufacturing -

MinebeaMitsumi Inc. (Registered Head Office: Nagano, Representative Director, Chairman CEO: Yoshihisa Kainuma, hereinafter referred to as "MinebeaMitsumi") hereby announces the opening of the "X TECH MUSEUM" on September 27 (Wednesday), 2023 on the first floor of MinebeaMitsumi Tokyo X Tech Garden (Minato Ward, Tokyo), which hosts our Tokyo Headquarters.

The X TECH MUSEUM is an experiential company showroom with a theme of "Technologies that support manufacturing around the world by utilizing the characteristics of MinebeaMitsumi." It is geared toward elementary school students in the 5th grade and above.

At the X TECH MUSEUM, the exhibitions focus on MinebeaMitsumi's products, which are used in all aspects of our daily lives though we rarely get the opportunity to see them. The museum also exhibits MinebeaMitsumi's ultra-precision processing technologies, which support these products, and the laws of nature that are closely related to these products (properties of friction, electricity/electron, magnetism, and light wave/radio wave).
The museum gives clear explanations to visitors on how MinebeaMitsumi's products work by using the laws of nature that are studied in elementary school science classes, as well as the systems and structures of each component, and the fact that they play large roles in society. Actual MinebeaMitsumi products are displayed in seven different zones, and hands-on exhibits are provided so that visitors can easily learn about the exhibits and develop an interest, fascination, and awareness of manufacturing.

In order to strengthen the foundations for our 100th anniversary in 2051, MinebeaMitsumi is actively working on various measures, including solving social issues through MinebeaMitsumi products and securing and educating talented human resources, while continuing to grow as an INTEGRATION manufacturer of precision parts.
As part of these efforts, the recently opened X TECH MUSEUM was established with the intention of nurturing as many future engineers and manufacturers as possible. In Japan, where the declining birthrate, aging population, and growing disengagement of children from science and manufacturing are becoming more serious, the X TECH MUSEUM will be widely used as an educational venue for off-campus learning and other educational activities to encourage future children, especially those in the fifth grade and above, to feel interest and fascination about manufacturing, as well as develop questions and a sense of fun.

MinebeaMitsumi will continue its sustainable growth by contributing to the rich development of society through manufacturing and ultra-precision processing technology.

* INTEGRATION means "combining" rather than "simple gathering." The Company will evolve its "core products" by combining and utilizing its proprietary technologies and will create new products in various fields through the INTEGRATON of the evolved products.
