Minebea Developed the Industry's Highest Class "2000W Compact, High-Power, High-Pressure Blowers (70DCF series)"

Minebea Co., Ltd. (Minebea) has developed 2000W Compact, High-power Brushless High-pressure Blowers (70DCF series) that achieve the industry's highest class power^*1 for brushless high-pressure blowers intended for industrial machinery.
(^*1: In comparison in terms of static pressure and air volume of a blower with a brushless motor as its driving source (source : Minebea))

Since the release of Minebea's compact, high-efficiency, brushless high-pressure blowers "60 DCF series (1200 W, 800W, 600W)" in October 2008, they have been enjoying a good reputation as proved by a fact that the cumulative number of shipped units has reached around 10,000 for applications such as printing machine, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and dust extractors etc.

The "70DCF series (2000W)" developed this time by Minebea combines both properties gained by further powering up the "60DCF series" and superior energy saving properties. The series realizes an increase in compactness with higher power, and less power consumption compared with conventional products intended for industrial machinery produced by other companies. The power efficiency for the motors used as the driving sources for the blowers has been improved (EFF about 95%^*2) taking advantage of Minebea's unique analysis techniques while non-rare earth magnets are used (^*2: Minebea measurement values).

• A power supply with harmonic-current countermeasures is installed (IEC61000_3_2). Power factor≒1 (Minebea measurement value)
• Speed control input, dedicated protection functions, error signal output (abnormal temperature rise, abnormal current, axial restraint)
• Wide range voltage support (In case of AC200V systems where the input range is AC180V-AC264V, and the frequency range is 50/60Hz, the P-Q characteristics do not change.)
• Superior energy-saving function for the three-phase induction electrical equipment
• Standards: RoHS Directive compliant product, CE marking (Low Voltage Directive: EN60950-1 2nd schedule to be acquired)
