NMB-Minebea Thai Receives CSR-DIW Continuous Award for the Twelfth Consecutive Year
NMB-Minebea Thai Ltd.'s following plants received the CSR-DIW*1 Continuous Award from the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry for their CSR activities and was awarded a certificate of commendation and a plaque. NMB-Minebea Thai received this award for the 12th consecutive year.
CSR-DIW is a project to promote social responsibility on the part of manufacturing enterprises. To improve international competitiveness, Thailand's Ministry of Industry began promoting CSR initiatives on the part of domestic enterprises from FY2008.
This project calls for CSR initiatives in line with the seven core themes set forth in the ISO26000*2 standard: organizational governance, human rights, labor practices, the environment, fair operating practices, consumer issues, and community involvement and development. Qualification and/or continued participation in CSR-DIW is determined based on annual auditing.
NMB-Minebea Thai will continue its CSR activities based on the philosophy of "Work in harmony with the local community" which is written in MinebeaMitsumi's company credo "The Five Principles."
