Thirteenth Biannual Meeting with Representatives of Miyota-machi, Nagano Prefecture
In May 2019, the MinebeaMitsumi Karuizawa Plant hosted its regular meeting with representatives of Miyota-machi, Kitasaku-gun, Nagano Prefecture, where the company is headquartered.
The meetings have been held twice yearly to foster mutual trust with local community members. This is the thirteenth such meeting. It was attended by a total of eight people including Mayor Kozono.
First, MinebeaMitsumi explained their operations and environmental initiatives before the plant tour. The participants exchanged views on various topics at the meeting, including disaster response training, dealings with foreigners and employment.
MinebeaMitsumi will continue dialogues with members of the region.
