Ninth Biannual Meeting with Representatives of Miyota Town, Nagano Prefecture
This May 2017, the MinebeaMitsumi Karuizawa plant hosted its ninth biannual meeting with representatives of Miyota Town, Kitasaku District, Nagano Prefecture, where the company is headquartered.
Held twice annually, the meeting is designed to sustain open dialog with local community members as a means of building mutual trust. The meeting, which was attended by eight people with responsibility for business affairs, including the mayor, provided an opportunity to share candid opinions on various topics such as disaster planning and disaster response training initiatives, connections between local production and local consumption, and hopes for new products.
MinebeaMitsumi looks forward to continuing such dialog with local community members in the future.
