MinebeaMitsumi to Become a Special Sponsor for New Year Curling in Miyota 2026
MinebeaMitsumi Inc. (hereinafter "MinebeaMitsumi") is pleased to announce its special sponsorship for the World Curling Tour of New Year Curling in Miyota 2026. The tournament will take place from Monday, December 29, 2025 to Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Curling Hall Miyota (Miyota-town, Kitasaku-gun, Nagano Prefecture).
Since 2007, MinebeaMitsumi has been a proud supporter of curling through ASAMA HIGHLAND SPORTS CLUB, a non-profit organization that operates the Curling Hall Miyota. The New Year Curling, a competition sponsored by MinebeaMitsumi, will welcome world-ranked teams from across the globe, and stands as the world's only competition during the New Year period.
Miyota Town will be buzzing with excitement as six teams from Japan and two guest teams from abroad, each with a proven track record in national and open tournaments, will face off at the Curling Hall Miyota. Preliminary sessions and finals are scheduled to be aired on BS Asahi on December 31 and January 1. Additionally, all matches from December 30 to January 1 will be live-streamed on YouTube.
