MinebeaMitsumi Hosts Participatory Art Event Featuring its Smart LED Lighting at eslite spectrum Nihonbashi on November 22
--Creating "Art x Light" Space in Collaboration with Go Ogawa--

MinebeaMitsumi Inc. (hereinafter "MinebeaMitsumi") will be hosting an art event titled "Prism Hunting --Interactive Cosmic Art Space Away from Skyscrapers--" featuring the collaboration between MinebeaMitsumi's smart LED lighting, SALIOT and an artist, Go Ogawa. The event will take place from 8 pm to 9:30 pm on November 22, 2025 at eslite spectrum Nihonbashi (Address: 2nd floor, COREDO Muromachi Terrace, 3-2-1, Nihonbashi-Muromachi, Chuo City, Tokyo), which is run by YURINDO Co., Ltd.
Visitors are invited to an unusual setting, post-business-hours space of eslite spectrum Nihonbashi, to experience the "Art x Light" space realized through the synergy between Go Ogawa' artworks that plays with light using prisms, and MinebeaMitsumi's high-quality SALIOT light.

"Prism Hunting –Interactive Cosmic Art Space Away from Skyscrapers—":

Go Ogawa's "Luminous Moldings," use prisms to apply refraction of light. This creates a brand-new visual experience where the light overflowing from his works transforms based on angle of the light, the viewer's position, and the timing of viewing. The warm, high-quality light of MinebeaMitsumi's SALIOT brings out the intrinsic charm of his artworks.
The event will be held at eslite spectrum Nihonbashi, a bookstore designed with an Edo Period-Style interior, offering a tranquil atmosphere. Visitors will be carrying SALIOT pico Portable as if they are walking through an Edo-Period town with a paper-covered lantern in hand. When his artworks placed on a bookshelf or a desk are illuminated by SALIOT pico Portable, its high color rendering property* reveals vividly overflowing "Luminous Moldings." The event will surely leave you moved by its two-layered enjoyment: the thrill of personal discovery of various prisms, and the pleasure of photographing and sharing those moments on social media.
Moreover, visitors will be able to enjoy how the light overflowing from a large wall artwork transforms as it is illuminated by the automatically controlled "SALIOT Moving Spot Light" installed on the ceiling.
Immerse yourself in both types of lighting experiences: light that you change yourself, and light that transforms naturally!
The event will also offer you other enjoyable, relaxing experiences, such as presentation on artwork interpretation by Go Ogawa himself, quiz about light, and drinks services.

I have been fortunate enough to collaborate with MinebeaMitsumi time to time since 2022 when I created an installation art with SALIOT for my solo exhibition.
What I like about SALIOT is that it allows me to easily control lightings via a device. I also like how SALIOT light harmonizes with my works. Its direct light-transmittance property distinguishes itself from competitor's products.
I always want my audience to immerse themselves into a surreal experience, instead of unreal one.

Go Ogawa Profile:

My works are inspired by the twinkling of galaxy floating in space and natural light phenomena. With this in mind, I create three-dimensional works and installation arts using special films and structural color consisting of various materials and surface treatments. My works are based on refraction of light through prisms, allowing light particles dispersed into multiple colors dominate the space. The aim is to distort audience's formative consciousness and dramatic transformation of the visual environment.

[Why I Explore "Visual Disruption and Expansion" as my Main Theme]

When I was a university student, churches I saw on my trip to Germany and shrines and temples in Japan left strong impression in me. Because I was deeply impressed by their spatial presentation used light to impress audience the invisible—things that are either unseen or do not exist in this world.

[Inspiration from Galaxy Image Captured by Hubble Space Telescope]

"Illusion and Reality" is another theme I am exploring at the same time. Images from the Hubble Space Telescope are originally nothing more than simple grayscale data. Various processes are applied to that master data, converting it into the beautiful images we are all familiar with. This entire process itself forms the core of my work.
For me, art and science constitute the "Illusion," while the "Reality," on the other hand, may be nothing more than an ordinary "Ishi" (stone/will/intention).
