Impacts of the martial law implementation on our operations in Thailand (as of May 21, 2014)

The head commander of the Thailand's army declared martial law nationwide shortly after 3:00 a.m. on May 20, 2014 local time. Thai Army is currently in full control of the security authority throughout Thailand.

Regarding Minebea's operations in Thailand, as of today, the business has been carried out as usual as the commuting of the employees, plant operations and deliveries, etc. are all conducted normally.

There have been no impacts of the martial law implementation on our operations in Thailand at this point in time, since airports, ports and the facilities around there are operating as usual.

We will continue to gather information from our local offices in Thailand and keep you abreast of the matter as to if and when there would be any change in the situation affecting our operations.
