Minebea Co., Ltd. (Minebea) hereby makes an announcement on the latest situation as of today at the Peterborough facility of New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc., Minebea's U.S. subsidiary, as described below:
Latest Information (as of the close of business on February 20, 2014, U.S. Eastern Standard Time)
- Machining process operation has been fully restored and is operating as usual.
- As reported earlier, assembly process resumed its operation on Wednesday, February 20. It is expected to return to normal operation on next Monday, February 24, 2014.
In regards to this matter, we sincerely apologize for any concerns and inconveniences that this accident might have caused on our customers as well as local residents and authorities.
We would like to express our gratitude for a lot of messages and encouragement that we have received from a variety of people as well as various support and cooperation provided to us towards the efforts to restore manufacturing operations at the plant.
