Impact on the operations at our Cambodian plant of the garment workers' strikes, etc. to demand wage increase that took place in Cambodia

Please be informed that as of January 7, 2014, our Cambodian plant's operation status is as follows:

Minebea's plant in Cambodia is located in the Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (PPSEZ). In response to the expansion of the demonstrations, etc. that have been primarily invoked by workers in the garment industry in and around Phnom Penh, with a view to ensuring the safety of the employees, Minebea ceased its plant operations in the afternoon (half a day) on Friday, December 27 and Saturday, December 28 and a full day on Monday, December 30, 2013 (two full business days in total) according to the plan. Since the safety is maintained within the PPSEZ without any demonstrations and the like, we have decided to start our normal business operations since Tuesday, December 31 in our Cambodian plant (We had a day off due to the New Year's holiday on January 1, 2014). We should add that there have been no delivery delays, etc. due to such series of events.

We will, while ensuring the safety in the future, endeavor to continue our stable supply of products to our customers.
