On June 18, 2026, the Chitose Business Division hosted a plant tour for second-year students from the Department of Control and Information Engineering at Asahikawa National Institute of Technology. We welcomed 41 students and 2 faculty members, giving them firsthand experience of our Monozukuri (manufacturing) operations.
In the post-tour survey, we were delighted that 100% of respondents answered "Satisfied"! Students shared inspiring feedback reflecting their new insights and learnings:
"I was able to gain a deeper understanding of the semiconductor manufacturing process."
"I thought semiconductors were not closely related to my field of study, but learning that programming skills are needed depending on the department broadened my perspective."
It was a meaningful occasion for students to make new discoveries and see how their daily studies connect to real-world products.
