[Japan] Experience Firsthand! The Depth of Manufacturing: Work Experience Program
"What does it mean to work?" - Driven by this curiosity, students from Minokaya Junior High School came to our office for a hands-on workplace experience! This initiative aims to help students understand how society works and foster their future perspectives on careers through actual work experience and interaction with our employees.
This time, the students were welcomed by four departments: the HR & General Affairs Section, the Plant Maintenance Section, the DC & BL Motor BUs, and the Manufacturing Headquarters.
They took on various activities, starting with an "Introduction to Motors" (our flagship products), followed by a hands-on "Manufacturing Experience" making things themselves, and a "Measurement Experience" to feel firsthand the world of precision manufacturing that our company prides itself on.
There were moments of surprise and cheers from the students as they witnessed professional techniques they had never seen before. For us employees, it was also a valuable opportunity to remember our original intentions and feel a real connection with the local community.
To everyone in each department who warmly welcomed them, thank you all for your hard work!
