Minebea AccessSolutions Offers Plant Tour for Miyazaki Prefectural Myojo Special Needs Education School for the Visually Challenged
Minebea AccessSolutions had the pleasure of hosting the plant tourfor students from seven elementary schools and a special needs education school for the visually challenged in Miyazaki Prefecture throughout FY2024.
For the visit by the special needs education school on March 11, 2025, the company offered them experiences where they could learn about the company's business using five senses, such as touching and listening. To allow them gain deeper insights into manufacturing in an enjoyable manner, the company also let them test drive an actual vehicle, touch products installed in the car, and listen to the distinct sounds produced by different machines.
Furthermore, as part of our social contribution activities, the students also experienced harvesting strawberries cultivated in the greenhouse located on the plant premise.
After the visit, the company received some delightful comments from students, such as "I didn't know that there was a company with such diverse businesses near my school until I visited Minebea AccessSolutions" and "It was a great opportunity to be briefed on the company's business using senses of hearing and touching.
It would be truly rewarding if today's experience helps them envision their future dreams and what they want to achieve in their professional life.
