Minebea AccessSolutions Thai Welcomes Students from National Institute of Technology, Miyakonojo College
On Friday September 2024, students from the 5th grade and advanced course of National Institute of Technology, Miyakonojo College visited the plant of Minebea AccessSoltuions Thai Ltd., a group company of MinebeaMitsumi Group.
This plant tour was organized at the request of the college, whose educational philosophy is 'to foster creative and practical engineers with excellent character who can contribute to the global community.' To address the lack of overseas experience among graduates, the college has become committed to providing their mechanical engineering students with overseas training in order to help them gain the global perspective and background necessary for professional engineers.
The company briefed them on their business overview and guided a production line tour. Students were able to understand firsthand the difference from Japanese plant and behind the scenes of the global manufacturing.
After the plant visit, one shared an enthusiastic comment, 'I now understand the passion and time invested in each product, and I want to value a mindset of never cutting corners in my future work.' Another commented, 'I had never imagined myself working abroad before, but this tour sparked a strong interest in the excitement and life experience that a global career can offer.' It is truly rewarding for the company to know that their facility tour contributed to the growth of the students as they prepare for global careers in engineering.
