Cebu Mitsumi Hosts Charity Marathon
Philippines-based production center Cebu Mitsumi sponsors an annual charity marathon. Labelled "Run for Education," the event serves to promote employee health while supporting local school facilities and instructional materials. In its fourth year, the marathon was participated in by 817 people running either 5km or 10km races under the slogan, "Finish a Run. Start a Dream!" Thanks to donations as well as sales of commemorative event t-shirts carrying the slogan, the local elementary school has plans to build two classrooms. Cebu Mitsumi looks forward to continuing such activities as these that contribute to the local community.
