Fujisawa Plant Conducts Hands-on Teacher Training
Minebea's Fujisawa Plant accepted one teacher from the nearby Fujisawa City Shinbayashi Elementary School as part of a hands-on teacher-training program. The Kanagawa Prefectural Board of Education operates the training program for teachers who have five years of classroom experience as part of the district's continuing education program to broaden teachers' perspectives on society through hands-on experience with different occupations. Teachers then apply what they learn to activities in the classroom.
The training program lasted three days and included on-site manufacturing training and lectures on health and safety.
Minebea looks forward to continuing to make such contributions to the local community in the future.
