Nagano Iwamurada High School Students Visit Karuizawa Plant
Minebea's Karuizawa Plant welcomed 35 first-year students enrolled in the machine system program at Nagano Iwamurada High School in adjacent Saku City for a factory tour.
After a general introduction to the company, the students visited the main plant. The tour provided an extension to the school curriculum and offered the students a window on production floor operations inside an actual plant. The up-close look gave the students a better understanding of their classwork. Not only that, it gave them a great opportunity to think further about their career goals and learn things they wouldn't find in any school textbook.
Minebea looks forward to supporting the local community through similar activities in the future.
