CSR Promotion Activities in Thailand
Commendation Received
NMB-Minebea Thai was selected from among projects in the "Companies Making a Decision to Use Environmentally Friendly Toilet Paper to Protect and Support the Environment" initiative sponsored by papermaker Kimberly-Clark Thailand and Thai Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. The commendation was delivered in Bangkok in July 2013 by Mr. Chot Trachoo, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
The reduction in environmental burden as a result of NMB-Minebea Thai's decision to use environmentally friendly toilet paper has been calculated as follows:
