Participation in "Reforestation and Water Catchment for Elephants" Project

NMB-Minebea Thai participated in the "Reforestation and Water Catchment for Elephants" project in a Erawan National Park in Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand, sponsored by a foundation dedicated to returning elephants to forested areas.

To alleviate shortages of food and water for wild animals such as the elephants that roam between the Erawan National Park and the Salak Phra Wildlife Sanctuary adjacent to the park, a total of 140 people from within and without the company together planted 300 trees for food and constructed 71 catchments for water.
