Study Session for CSR Staff
Minebea believes that CSR staff education is vital to promote its CSR activities, and to become an enterprise that wins and maintains stakeholders' trust. In December 2012, the company hosted a CSR study session for CSR staff at its Tokyo Head Office.
The session was attended by thirteen Minebea employees from Compliance Promotion, Personnel and General Affairs, Quality Management Support, Logistics, Procurement, Investor Relations, Group Environment Management, and CSR Promotion. Ayako Sonoda, Representative Director of Cre-en Inc., delivered a lecture on "The CSR Way of Thinking," along with a presentation on examples of CSR promotions at other companies.
Following the lecture, a workshop was held where the attendees exchanged their opinions on the subject of "What We Can Do as We Approach the Year 2020."
