The X TECH MUSEUM is an experiential museum with the theme of "Technologies that support manufacturing around the world by utilizing the characteristics of MinebeaMitsumi."

We welcome visitors of all ages and have a variety of exhibits ready that will inspire anyone's interest in manufacturing.

*This facility is geared toward elementary school students in the 5th grade and above.

X TECH MUSEUM is a hands-on museum that has been set up based on the theme of technologies which leverage the characteristics of MinebeaMitsumi and serve to support manufacturing around the globe. We have many hands-on exhibits at the museum that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

How much is the admission fee?

Admission is free.

What are the museum's hours of operation?

A

From 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Admission is by reservation only.

When is the museum closed?

A

The museum is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and during the New Year holiday. It is also closed on days when MinebeaMitsumi is closed. Please check the operation calendar for more details.

Are there any admission restrictions in place?

We require that reservations be made in advance on our website. Members of the general public and groups are asked to ensure that a reservation is made before visiting the museum using our reservation form.

What age group is the museum for?

A

Although the museum is geared towards students who are at least in their fifth year of elementary school, younger children and adults of any age can enjoy the facility.

Can children enter the museum by themselves?

A

Children are not allowed in the museum by themselves. We ask that all children be accompanied by a guardian and that guardians keep a close eye on the children they are visiting the museum with. MinebeaMitsumi will not be held responsible for the occurrence of any incidents or accidents.

The museum is located about a 3-minute walk from Exit 9 of Shiodome Station on the Toei Subway Oedo Line.

The museum is located 3 minutes away from the Shiodome IC on the Shuto Expressway Inner Circular Route and 5 minutes from the Ginza IC on the Shuto Expressway Inner Circular Route.

We can provide a diaper-changing table at the museum's accessible restroom. Please fill out the relevant details on your reservation form. Please note that there are no breastfeeding rooms available.

Please refrain from entering the museum with pets. This rule, however, excludes guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing assistance dogs.

Can I smoke in the facility?

Smoking is prohibited inside the facility.

Is photography permitted inside the museum?

A

Photography is permitted in some parts of the facility. No photography is permitted where there exists displays stating that photography is prohibited. No recordings may be made of any video footage being shown in the facility. Please also note that any pictures taken or video recordings made must be for personal use only. Please ensure that you speak with our staff beforehand if when it comes to taking images for commercial purposes. Please also refrain from using monopods, tripods, selfie sticks, and other such equipment inside the museum. Please be careful not to disturb other customers when taking pictures or recording video.

Eating is not allowed in the building. Drinks may be consumed in the designated areas.

What should I do if I have lost or left something at the museum?

A

Lost or forgotten articles will be stored for 14 days starting from the date in which they are found at the museum. Please contact the X TECH MUSEUM: xtech.museum@minebeamitsumi.com.
