Notice Regarding Flood Damage in Thailand (Sixth Report)

Minebea Co., Ltd. announces the sixth report of the effects of the flooding in Thailand on its five manufacturing sites, as of twelve noon October 25.

  • The Rojana Industrial Park and the Nava Nakorn Industrial Estate remain inundated, and the status of damages to the two plants located there has not been confirmed yet. Minebea is making preparations for resuming production in a prompt manner after draining water from the plants is available.
  • At the two factories, which resumed production, Minebea intends to take a step-by-step approach to raise their operation rates in consideration of employees' commute to work and other working conditions.

Future operations will be decided in light of the situation as it develops. We will continue to monitor the extent of the flood damage and its effect on business performance and immediately report any developments risking a significant impact on business results.
